I also don't think it's because of the patches.. I've installed them also
on our Top-Lever Web caching-server in the Netherlands without problems..

No.. I've applied the three patches for Squid v1.1.5, did a "make" (without
doing a "make clean") and a make install (afther killing Squid). I didn't
change any settings oid..

Both disk partitions (on differend disks each) normaly are filled for 80%
but when I detected the errors they were filled for 7% !!
I recovered it by cleaning the Log-file in the Cache and restarting Squid.
