problem with squid

Hi all

I have set up squid on one of my machines. The problem I'm having is the
machine I set it up on is also one of my dialin machine.
People who are on that machine using a www setup to look at for the proxy
server get a high fail rate on most lookup's. If it is in the cache
already they tend to get it (evan that takes a while sometimes). But if
they have to go to a neighbor or direct they often don't get anything
back.

If I log on from one of the other machines & use a www set to the proxy
machine. It usually works fine. Sometimes I have errors going direct which
are mostly on queries to places like yahoo & the likes.
