Squid 1.0.16 dies (->Squid exists several times ($VER 1.16))

Same problem i think.

For better debugging here my configuration:

Pentium 133 - 256 KB Cache
96 MB Ram
Linux 1.2.13
2 GB SCSI Harddisk (Adaptec 2940) round about 800 MB free.
