Any other cache proxy packages?

Howdy all,

I'm a grad student at Texas A&M and I'm beginning research in the area of
cacheing in the Internet. I was wondering if there are many other
cache packages available besides Harvest/Squid and what the tradeoffs
are between them (i.e. why is Squid REALLY better).
