FreeBSD and Squid-1.1.beta20

 I have been noticing a problem on the squid's that I have running on
 this machine and I am not sure if anyone can help.

 Every so often, the squid daemon will hang.. it is running but
 nothing is brought in or out. So I ran ktrace on it ( fbsd's kernel
 tracing program ) and got this:

 21451 squid RET select 0

 21451 squid RET gettimeofday 0
 21451 squid CALL gettimeofday(0x90120,0)

 Seems all it is trying to do is get the time of day. Anyone have any
 idears?
