Netscape Gold publish button

hello,

when I try to upload a file using netscape gold publish button
and using the ftp protocol I get the following error generated
by our local proxy:

ftp://user:passwd@123.123.123.123/local/www/docs/index.html

Unsupported Request

I can upload it by disabling the proxy during this transaction but
how can I pass it thru the proxy? Is this planned or even already
supported with another syntax?
