Actually, we have the medium bandwidth (T1) product for only $1000.
Also the academic price is $1000. The $5000 one is the highend.
Yes. BSDI malloc seems to be broken. Also, we ran into problem when
we removed a lot of files and directories at once. It can crash BSDI sometimes.
