Hello all,
in our access.log file are a few lines with
TCP_HIT/200/FIRST_PARENT_MISS
I checked the release notes and they state:
TCP_HIT
A valid copy of the requested object was in the cache
FIRST_PARENT_MISS
The object has been requested from the
parent cache with the fastest weighted round
trip time.
Why is squid requesting it from our parent when it has a valid copy
in its cache?
Hmmm. Another line just scrolled by, preceded by the same request
which was aborted by the client. Perhaps it's related.
Does somebody have a clue on how to interpret these entries?
I'd like to do proper statistics...
Richard.
