squid http accelerator

Excuse me if this is a FAQ but how do I configure squid (1.0.2) to get
the real REMOTE_HOST and REMOTE_ADDRESS from the httpd server (ncsa-1.5.2)
when running in HTTP accel mode?
With my current config I always get the squid hostname and IP address.
