Squid exiting by itself

Hello,

I am running Squid 1.0 beta17.
Yesterday, squid has shut down by itself.
The cache.log file says :
[20/Jun/1996:18:24:29 +0200] ftpget: ERROR: Received signal 15, exiting.

What's happenend ?
What's signal 15 ?
