Info on the hierarchy.log

What do the different types in the hierarchy.log. When I make some
simple statistics from this file, I get this output:
        Types:
        TIMEOUT_DIRECT 7 0.3%
        TIMEOUT_FIRST_PARENT_MISS 454 21.9%
        DEAD_NEIGHBOR 2 0.1%
        DIRECT 843 40.7%
        FIRST_PARENT_MISS 687 33.2%
        REVIVE_NEIGHBOR 2 0.1%
        PARENT_HIT 74 3.6%
        Total: 2069 100.0%

What does "FIRST_PARENT_MISS", "TIMEOUT_FIRST_PARENT_MISS" and
"REVIVE_NEIGHBOR" meen?

Where do I find some info on what the store.log contains?

BTW: I finaly got squid 1.0.beta16 running on NetBSD. It has stopped
      dumping core. :-)
