Squid toolchain requirements

I have been thinking about adding a section to the release notes and
wiki pages about each release detailing the minimum toolchain
requirements for that version of Squid.

Any help with the information is helpful. What I have so far is this set
as of 3.2:

autoconf 2.61 or later

pkg-config (any version)

automake 1.10 or later .... ? not sure. I've not seen any older being
used, but they might work.

a C compiler:
   gcc 4.2 or later
   clang 3.2 or later
   icc 10.1 or later .... ? not quite sure of this one

   ... any other C compilers that build the compat/*.c objects fine ??

a C++ compiler:
   g++ 4.6 or later
   clang++ 3.2 or later
   icc 10.1 or later .... ? not quite sure of this one

   ... any other C++ compilers that build squid fine ??

libtool 2.2 or later

libltdl .... ? version?
