problem in config file of squid

Hi All,

I want to use ecap as third party tool and I have installed its adapters
I am using
libcap.0.0.2
squid 3.1.4
OS Ubuntu

when I am using squid_ecap_gzip the proxy is running after making changes
to the squid.conf but as soon as I try to follow the squid.conf parameters
as given at squid
http://wiki.squid-cache.org/Features/eCAP
I can't retrieve pages from the browser.

my cache.log can be found at
http://cse.unl.edu/~skuttal/cache.log.gz
Kindly help me in fixing what is going wrong since squid is not running
