What did you have tcp_outgoing_address set to? And what kind of failover
are you expecting?
This patch does not change tcp_outgoing_address. If you set
tcp_outgoing_address to an IPv6 address but have no IPv6 stack on the
box then you will get burnt.
This patch also does not change bad address marking. If you have set
tcp_outgoing_address to one protocol then any destination addresses of
another protocol is skipped from the previous patch.
