Welcome Max,
Sorry for any trouble, the devel.squid-cache.org is a bit outdated and
in progress of being updated. Developer information for Squid are now
all found through: http://wiki.squid-cache.org/DeveloperResources
Do you know C++ much? We have moved on from Squid-2 and to Squid-3
which is written with a mix of C++ with sections of C.
With Squid-3 we use bzr as a version control system, so no need for
special accounts or access unless you want to publish test branches at
http://launchpad.net/squid. Most work can be done from any machine you
like and the results posted to this mailing list as [PATCH] or [MERGE]
requests in unified diff format.
What did you have in mind to help with?
Amos
