2.HEAD is always open for commit of tested patches.

2.7 is now in STABLE, so any change in config syntax needs to be very
carefully considered. Specifically it is not clear to me if the patch
accepts the current configuration syntax. Had you posted this some hours
earlier...

2.6 is now in "old" mode, which means at most critical bugfixes.
