Now that both of the blocker bugs are closed.

I submitted the last of the compile errors I can find today, it now builds
for both make check and make install.
Baring any of you others finding another I think we have reached step 2 of
the release process again today.
The fortnight clock should be counting down to a 1 Sept release.
