modify the source code to get the bandwidth of every domain

Hi,all

i am writing for ask some questiongs about squid source code.

    we run a lot of squid boxes and several hundred domains. we need
the every domains' band traffic. we get the bands from the analyse of
access.log with our program. but the data is not exact(it's said that
you will not get the band through the log file!)

    the questions are whether i can get the bandwidth of every single
domain configured in squid.conf ( set the interval to 5 minutes
between 2 data points is acceptable) ? if is it difficult achive this
aim through modify the squid source code? is there some API or other
programming interface i can use?

i need your help.
