I've been thinking about this, because I really want to see some part of
Samba4 get out before the rest, because the different areas are all at
different stages of maturity.

So, I've been wondering about a release of just ntlm_auth4, maybe hooked
onto Samba3 winbindd. The squid use would be the single biggest driver,
because it makes such a big difference to performance there.
