And this is the mine:
# pkginfo -l SFWgcc
PKGINST: SFWgcc
NAME: gcc - GNU Compiler Collection
CATEGORY: system
ARCH: i386
VERSION: 2.95.3,REV=2001.05.21.04.05
BASEDIR: /opt
VENDOR: www.gnu.org
DESC: GNU Compiler Collection
PSTAMP: freeware20010521061845
INSTDATE: May 10 2002 12:25
HOTLINE: Please contact the owners of this software
STATUS: completely installed
FILES: 325 installed pathnames
8 shared pathnames
2 linked files
19 directories
22 executables
45890 blocks used (approx)
It seems the same i386 version.
After a search in gcc 2.95.3 and 3.2 sources I have understand the problem:
In gcc 2.95.3 the -pthreads options is defined only on SPARC, in gcc 3.2 is
defined in BOTH platforms.
Using gcc 2.95.3 Squid builds on Solaris i386 with an annoying gcc error
message but aufs WORKS, so I think that a release note instead of a
configure.in change can be better.
Regards
Guido
