If this helps anyone:
I've been working mostly with 2.4.6 and 2.5.10.
Pushing around 80meg/sec (two T3's) through 6 box's, running Pentium 600s
with 256MB ram each. Os is Linux 2.4.x, Libc is 2.2.5.
2.4.6 is much more stable then previous 2.5.x branches, but 2.5.10 seems
to work _very_ well. In fact, 2.4.6 seems to have a small memory leak, or
two.
Tomorrow, I'll be upgrading everything to 2.5.12, and will test. If anyone
has any specific questions, let 'em loose. I know 2.5.x is not meant for
production, but 2.5's performance appears much greater than 2.4 in our
real world environment.
I'll keep you guys posted on any problems I run into.
