IMO we should deal with any issues it might raise now, rather than just
after the release. That way there are no unknowns to be dealt with, when
we may have sudden bug reports due to the increased user base.

This is harder to configure and to little point - the ports maintainers
have already dealt with this for us - as per my email about the two
versions.
