2.5 and the DNS

Hello.
        I'm moving my servers to a new DNS setup
(goodbye, Microsoft, hello BIND), and I noticed
that squid tends to repeat the same query multiple
times, even when the value is obviously in the
internal DNS cache.

Has some bug crept in somehow? Or is it intentional
(i.e. when receiving a query, regardless of whether
the DNS data is in cache, a DNS query is performed
"just in case"?)
