Hi,
I'm testing winbind authenticators, both basic and NTLM, on Solaris 8 x86
with Samba 2.2.4.
The basic winbind authenticator works fine, but the NTLM doesn't start:
> ./wb_ntlmauth
wb_ntlmauth[14522](wb_ntlm_auth.c:384): Can't contact winbindd. Dying
> ./wb_ntlmauth -d
wb_ntlmauth[14523](wb_ntlm_auth.c:370): target domain is Segmentation fault
(core dumped)
> ./wb_ntlmauth -d ASPLAB
wb_ntlmauth[14524](wb_ntlm_auth.c:370): target domain is ASPLAB
wb_ntlmauth[14524](wb_ntlm_auth.c:409): ntlm winbindd auth helper build May
23 2002, 12:16:57 starting up...
wb_ntlmauth[14524](wb_ntlm_auth.c:384): Can't contact winbindd. Dying
winbindd seems to run fine:
# /usr/local/samba/bin/wbinfo -p
'ping' to winbindd succeeded
# /usr/local/samba/bin/wbinfo -t
Secret is good
Any hints ?
Regards
Guido
