Puzzled at store_client->swapin_sio. :-(

Hi, pals!

I often see store_client->swapin_sio in source files. For example,
in storeClientFileRead,

if (mem->swap_hdr_sz == 0) {
        storeRead(sc->swapin_sio,
            sc->copy_buf,
            sc->copy_size,
            0,
            storeClientReadHeader,
            sc);

I get puzzled at the meaning and function of the variable. What does
it stand for? Can you give me a simple explanation. :-(
