cbdata is on of the few things fully documented in the Squid
Programmers Guide

Note: The cbdata API is significantly different in HEAD from the
earlier versions. If you look at this make sure you look at the HEAD
version of Squid (what is labelled as 2.6 on our home page, or
available from the CVS repository).
