Efficiency. An unlink request has no immediate use for cache
performance, yet putting it through the aufs queue removes one async I/O
that would either commit incoming data to disk or retrieve data for
sending to a client. Thus unlinkd will increase available I/O bandwidth
for request processing, at the cost of deferring some of the unlink
activity.
