Hmm,Henrik, I myself am reluctant to switching to one
of the tarballs :-) because it leads for me to a possible
'discussion-in-the-dark' syndrome on the long term.
I am staying with the official 2.4S1 for the moment.
My advice to the delevopers would be to release a 2.4S2 anyway
as todays tarball, for instance.
Yet some hard bugs my remain, but it gives the 'mail community'
the opportunity to keep contributing to observing and analyzing
SQUID's problems.
And I am sure that the brilliant SQUID developers will soon
solve all problems afterwards in the 2.4S3 release... :-)
Marc.
