The auth_rewrite code has henriks updated http path. I cannot comment on it's reliability/speed etc. Henrik has said it may need
more testing. I'm happy with auth_rewrite code itself though. It's all synced up as at when I emailed out...
It really depends on how willing the dev crew are to put the new http path through it's paces in the short term :]
