Cross-Compile Squid problems

Hi,

I am wondering how to make Squid 2.2S5 cross-compilable. It seems to me the
makefile needs to run the cf_gen at the host machine to generate the
squid.conf, so I probably need to use the native compiler at one place and
then the cross-compiler at the other. Does anyone know how to get around this?
