Does increase READ_AHEAD_GAP harmful?

Hi, folks,

I finally figured out why my modification does not work with
sports.yahoo.com. The reason is that READ_AHEAD_GAP is by default 16K. So
fwdCheckReadDefer always return 1. So I increase it to 1G and everything looks
great. By the way, what does that READ_AHEAD_GAP do?? Is it harmful to
increase it to 1G???
