squid-2.2PRE2

 hi,

 Is anyone using 2.2 with async-io enabled on Solaris 7 ?

 Not sure if its to do with Sol7 or changes in async-io
 since 2.1, but it simply and definitely doesn't work.

 squid -N -X starts, forks, runs 1 dnsserver, parses its
 conf, last yikes is "leave_suid:..." and thats it.
 CPU skyrockets, http port is not listening. By truss -p
 it all seems doing pretty nothing, I cant even find the
 source of high CPU usage...
 It seems like squid itself thinks it's cool.

 I don't even know where to start looking...

 any hint?
