Oh hmm, you know I never tried using mprotect() to try to mark the config
pages as read-only after config time. This would probably take about an
hour of coding... would that do the trick? If so I can put it on the list
of things to try some day. Hmm. I'd probably also have to rearrange the
global data so that I can mark it read-only as well... this could be nice.
